Block Reward: 300 at Genesis declining by .001 coin per block. Initially after 5 years, blocks were producing a floor of 10SCP in perpetuity. In the hard fork, it was decided to make all blocks 50SCP for a period of approximately 5 years, until block 556,520 when transaction fees will cover 100% of the mining yield.

The result is an increase in overall supply to 65,414,445 before ending with a finite conclusion.

Initially, it is expected there will be 3 mining pools who have implemented mining code publicly available to work with a new miner from Bitmain called the DR7. It is theoretically possible for pools to provide backwards compatibility with older Blake256 miners but it is unknown if any pools will implement or if such miners will provide any profitability.
