Transporter Guide for ScPrime WebWallet
In 2024 ScPrime created a Transporter, which is a one way bridge and built into their WebWallet, to allow holders of SCP to move their assets from the Proof of Work blockchain to the Solana layer-1 blockchain. The reasons for this was to allow holders to access the wider DeFi ecosystem and the liquidity and volume that is possible on Solana.

While the Proof of Work side of SCP is available to buy and sell on TradeOgre and likely more exchanges in the future, it’s important to know that by transporting your SCP to Solana, you will find a smooth way to access more liquidity and buyers then you will find on the current centralized exchanges. There is no inflation sending your assets to Solana as each SCP that is sent over the transporter is burned on the PoW side and minted on the Solana side.
How To Use the Transporter
The first thing to do in order to use the transporter is to setup the WebWallet. You will then be required to set up a Solana wallet like Phantom or Solflare and have a Solana wallet address.
WebWallet Setup
To start off we need to download the Windows WebWallet from https://scpri.me/software/. The software supports Windows 10 and 11, other versions of Windows may work but are untested.
Downloading the Windows version will download a zip file in our Downloads folder, double click the zip file to unzip it, you will then have the following 4 files in a folder as shown below.
You can move this folder to anywhere on your drive like C:\Program Files or just run from the Downloads folder. The first time you run the scp-webwallet app, you will see the following pop-up from Windows Defender, click on More info.
Then click on Run anyway.
Next you’ll see a new browser tab open up (this is different to previous versions of the WebWallet) and see this screen if it’s a fresh install and no consensus copy is found.
To download a copy of the current blockchain you can either use the Bootstrap option to download an up to date zip copy of the blockchain from the scpri.me servers or you can use Build to build a copy of the blockchain directly from other nodes on the network. For either option you’ll get a progress bar showing the download happening.
Once downloaded you’ll be taken to the main screen as below:
For simply setting up a new Wallet, choose the ‘Create New Wallet’ option. That takes us to this page where we need to give the wallet a name and then enter a password and confirm it. Make sure to make a note of the name and password as next time opening the WebWallet you will need these details.
Then click on Create New Wallet. You’ll then see it initializing the wallet which again takes a few mins.
Once complete you’ll be presented with the main WebWallet Transactions page.
VERY IMPORTANT – SAVE YOUR SEED
Before you do anything else, you should save the new recovery seed phrase for your wallet. Click on My Wallet -> Recover Seed:
This will show you your wallet’s recovery seed phrase. Make sure to make a note of this and keep it safe so you are able to recover your SCP and SPF coins in the case of no longer being back to access the WebWallet on this PC for example, they can always be recovered from a new wallet using the recovery seed phrase.
If you had a previous version of the WebWallet installed on the computer and you’ve upgraded to the 1.0.0 version, then from the main screen, simply select Unlock Wallet and input your wallet name and password you used previously. This will open up your existing wallet and take you to the Transactions list.
Getting a Solana Wallet Address
With your WebWallet now setup, we can now look at how to setup a Solana wallet and get a Solana address. For this guide we will be using Phantom that can be found at https://phantom.app/. When you go to their website, you will see the page below and by clicking on the download button will take you to the appropriate place depending on your browser. We are using Chrome for this example.
Click on Add to Chrome.
Now you’ll want to confirm you want to add Phantom to your browser by clicking Add Extension.
You’ll then be asked to create a new wallet or import one. Let’s Create a New Wallet.
Then you’ll want to create a unique password for it then click Continue.
You’ll now be give the recovery phrase for your Phantom wallet. Mouse over the hidden words to see them and be sure to either print, save or write the words down and keep them in a safe place. Once you have your phrase saved, confirm and click Continue.
Now that your wallet is setup, it’s handy to pin it to your browser so you can access it easily by clicking on the ‘puzzle’ piece and then clicking on the ‘thumbtack’.
Sending SCP to Solana via the Transporter
Now that you have the WebWallet and Phantom wallet setup, you can send your SCP to Solana. Click on the Phantom icon and open your wallet using your password.
The easiest way to use the Transporter is to connect your new Phantom wallet with the Webwallet. Open your Webwallet and click on Connect Wallet.
You’ll be asked what Solana wallet you are using and then you’ll need to confirm your choice in Phantom.
You’ll now see that your WebWallet is connected to your Phantom wallet. Now unlock your WebWallet.
Once inside your WebWallet, click on Send & Receive and then on Send to Transporter.
Now enter the amount of SCP you want to send over the transporter. You’ll see that because you connected your Phantom wallet to the ScPrime Webwallet, your Solana address is already entered into the address input. Ensure SCP is the currency and then click Send. Please will also need a very small amount of SCP in the wallet to pay the transaction fee, 1SCP is more than enough, even 0.001SCP is enough to cover it. We will send 250 SCP in this example.
And after a few seconds you’ll see the transaction show in the Transporter History section.
The Status will now go through 4 stages:
- Burn Broadcasted
- Submitted to Transporter
- In the Queue
- Completed
Note after reaching Stage 2 it will take around 2-3 hours before moving to Stage 3 and then 4. Only once it’s reached stage 4 will you now see your SCP tokens in your Solana wallet.
