Smart Contract Backups

Smart contract backup and recovery is currently being researched by the development team. Due to the nature of smart contract microtransactions being tiny, ongoing and not providing a sound stopping point, there is currently not an effective methodology to do a recovery of contract data at this time. Storage providers can do a mirror backup of their system drive that contains their contract data. This can save a storage provider from various failures, but it won’t solve corrupted contract data. Keep an eye on this space for updates and solutions to backing up this key data as it becomes available.
